Well it was World Poetry Day yesterday but I missed it, so here goes a little late, but never mind...
There was a club called Chester FC,
Who's fans are probably the best that you'll see,
Neil Young is in charge,
The lead was quite large,
But now it's down to six points you see.
So, it's time to buckle up,
and get ready to ride,
The famous Chester rollercoaster,
For a promotion ride.
We all want the title,
But Chorley remain,
Along with the Skem,
A right flippin' pain.
Just 11 games left,
For us all to get through,
With the message to the fans,
Now we really need you!
So, can we really do it,
Of course, yes we can,
and all shouting loud,
I am a Chester fan...
